Easter 2009

Emma had a great Easter. She helped with coloring eggs, got some great gifts from the Easter Bunny and her wonderful family and played almost all day outside since Easter day was so beautiful.

She loves talking on this phone. It is usually Pop on the phone or A. D. (uncle Dave).

She would not let go of the bubbles, it was pretty funny.

She loves the cozy coupe.

She had lots of fun pushing around her bubble mower.

She will push bunny around in the car.

The Lynges come to visit

Aunt Robin, Uncle Sean and baby Camryn came to visit over Easter weekend. Emma and Camryn had fun having snack together, even though Camryn tried to take Emma's food :)

NC Zoo

For my birthday, we went to the NC Zoo. Emma had a great time since she can do the noises for most of the animals. A lot of animals were "horses" to her. It was great to watch her have so much fun.

She really enjoyed getting so close to the animals.

Emma Talking

Emma has been talking like crazy lately. She tries to repeat everything we say and she has started pronouncing new words very well. Below are some videos of her talking. I love hearing her say her name, it is really cute!

Lots of updates

Sorry for the delay in postings. As you can imagine, we have had a lot of sickness in our house. Emma unfortunately has had a ton of problems with her ears, so she will be getting tubes next week :(

Emma is doing great though. She knows a ton of new words in English and Spanish, she has learned a lot of new sign language and she is talking...a lot!!! She just started saying her own name and it is adorable. We will try to catch it on video and post it b/c it is really cute. Here are a lot of pictures from the past 2 months.

Emma's First Snow Day

Well, who says it doesn't snow in Raleigh? Maybe we should move back to the north!!!

Emma updates and Camryn's Birthday

Well, so much has happened over the last several weeks. Emma is now walking like a pro (with several bumps and bruises along the way), she is talking like crazy (she can say several words including "mama", "dada", "baby", "nana" for banana, her favorite word "hi" and a couple more). She greets everyone every morning at daycare with a big "hi". She is now learning animal sounds including sounds for a horse, lion and cow. Her sign language skills are amazing. It is a great way for her to communicate with us. She definitely likes to let us know when she is hungry and we love when she signs "please", it is very sweet. Emma loves to dance and give hugs and kisses. I have posted some pictures below and a couple of videos.
