Emma's War Cry

Here is another funny sound that Emma picked up. Daddy has been doing this to Emma since she was little but now she does it herself!

Mommy Running

By popular demand we added another post of Emma laughing. She is laughing very hard because she is watching Mommy running in place. Daddy thought it was quite funny as well...

7 Months Old!

Well, I can't believe Emma is now 7 months old. She loves reading her books and especially loves to turn the pages when Mommy and Daddy read to her. She is doing great with holding toys in both hands and banging them together. I have been taking her to Gymboree music class here in Ireland and she loves to play with the musical instruments in class. She loves to play with her piano/xylophone toy here at the apartment (maybe she'll be a bandie just like Mommy, BC!).

Emma had her first major sickness this weekend. She had a temperature of 103 degrees so we went to the on-call doctor in our local town. We found out that her throat was very red. She was prescribed medicine, however when we got her home and gave her the medicine she puked everywhere. So we went back to the dr and then we were sent to the Children's Hospital in Dublin. Emma wasn't eating or drinking anything so we were concerned about her getting dehydrated. We were told that if Emma didn't drink soon she would need to be hooked up to an IV. Luckily we were able to get Emma to drink and she is doing much better now.

Father's Day Weekend

We visited the town of Dalkey. For you U2 fans, this is where Bono lives. There is a small castle in Dalkey that we visited. Below are a couple of pictures. Emma enjoyed this castle because they had people dress up and play characters from medieval times. (Look at her little belly, she is now 17 pounds!)

On Father's Day we went to the very small town of Ardagh. This is a picture of a road Gus had to drive on and this is a two lane road. I was completely freaked out on these roads. We have a very small car, I just don't see how two cars could drive on this road. Even more freaky is the fact that Gus drove on even smaller roads than this one.

This picture is for real. This is the town's post office/grocery store/bar!

Happy Father's Day!

Video-Emma laughing

Now that I have figured out how to load these, I am probably going to put a ton on here. Here is a quick video of Emma laughing, it is hilarious.

Pictures from the Weekend

Emma on the swings with her Daddy.

She absolutely loves the camera!

Reading with her Daddy. Dr. Seuss is her favorite.

Emma has had a rough time with her new teeth. You can see them on her bottom gums in this picture.

Dublin

Here are some pictures of St. Patrick's Cathedral. It is so large, so it is rather difficult to photograph. But it was absolutely beautiful inside!

When we were in Dublin they were having a Martitime Festival, here are some of the "Tall Ships".

Here is Emma with her Daddy at St. Stephen's Green, which is a beautiful park in Dublin.
